FAVORITE DESIGNER? i know this is probably not a great way to answer the first question...and many will think i'm a moron. but seriously? it's me. i have a policy to always stick up for my own work. but, i'll say that for fashion, i'm partial to halston, vivienne westwood, alexander mcqueen, and helmut lang.
2. FAVORITE RESTAURANT? anything korean or mexican...i like to go where i can kick back and try something new. love koreatown in nyc.
3. FAVORITE DAILY READS? what possessed me, melissa loves, creature comforts. nice people writing about good things!
4. WHAT CAN'T YOU TRAVEL WITHOUT? lipstick! definitely!
5. LAST BOOK YOU READ? native son by richard wright
6. FAVORITE MOVIE? sixteen candles. rushmore. doubt.
7. WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST? leftovers, if i am lucky! ideally, huevos rancheros.
8. STYLE ICON? i try not to idolize...i support and get inspired by anyone who has their own style. even if their style is to wear things others might not like.

13. FAVORITE FLOWER? peony for it's chaos...phlox for it's scent...queen anne's lace for it's ability to grow such a delicate pad of blossoms even in the worst soil...

16. WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU MOST? anyone who has the courage to go against the grain in a thoughtful way. i love that.

14. ALWAYS IN YOUR CLOSET? a scarf for every occasion, skinny jeans and flats.
15. FAVORITE HOBBY? going to pilates or for a walk around my neighborhood, buying way too many magazines every month, helping redecorate friends apartments and going to the farmers markets every weekend.
16. WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU MOST? over the past year, i’ve been inspired by the tight knit blog community i’m apart of. they inspire me every single day.
17. WHAT PIECE OF ART WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO OWN? there are too many wonderful artists out there to choose from. i’m currently putting an art wall together with pieces that mean something to me.

4. WHAT CAN'T YOU TRAVEL WITHOUT? honestly, it's my macbook pro. but a cozy cashmere scarf is a close second.
5. LAST BOOK YOU READ? i just got finished with the glass castle. (i'm about a year and 1/2 behind on my reading list.)
6. FAVORITE MOVIE? casablanca. i love everything bogie is in and i have happy memories watching his movies with my dad.

2. FAVORITE RESTAURANT? as a foodie, it's hard to choose...perhaps it would be father's office or pizzeria mozza (both in LA).
3. TOP 3 BLOGS/DAILY READS? wow, that's a tough question. destined to design is one of them obviously! i really enjoy and read so many blogs on a daily basis, but if i absolutely have to narrow it down to two other design blogs: dress, design & décor, and {frolic!}.
4. WHAT CAN'T YOU TRAVEL WITHOUT? a good book, my blackberry, hand sanitizer, cashmere scarf/wrap and headphones/ipod – all tucked into my favorite leather travel tote that i scored for only $100 at a sample sale.
5. LAST BOOK YOU READ? it’s been awhile since i’ve read a new book sadly, but i think the last one was sunday at tiffany’s by james patterson (one of my favorites). i plan on picking up a few since i’ll be traveling soon (the perfect time to catch up on some reading)!
6. FAVORITE MOVIE? pride & prejudice (roman holiday and love actually are close seconds).
7. WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST? unless i have a meeting or plans outside the office, breakfast is usually just a cup of tea most weekdays!

20. CURRENTLY COVETING? loeffler randall matilde boots have been on my wish list for years now. i fell in love with them when they first debuted, but i still can’t bring myself to spend almost $700 for them.

1. favorite designer? this is a hard one! chanel of course, but i tend to love certain pieces from different designers. there's just so many great new collections each season. for graphic design, my current crush is mika 78. gorgeous work!
2. favorite restaurant? any restaurant by the charcoal group, especially wildcraft – i've always had an amazing meal there, as well as a perfectly mixed drink.
3. what can’t you travel without? my own pillowcase.
4. last book you read? french women don't get fat by mireille guiliano
5. any pets? a siamese kitty named miley – who thinks she's a dog.
6. what’s for breakfast? in a perfect world – tea and a scottish scone with jam and fresh cream. in reality – fruit, toast with jam, or starbucks with a croissant way too late in the morning.
7. biggest self-indulgence? cupcakes from the cakebox.
8. favorite place to shop? most definitely j.crew.
9. whose diary would you most like to read? as of today, marie antoinette's.
10. favorite furniture designers? i love ochre...feminine, yet simplistic.
11. car? i have a cavalier, but i'd love a mini cooper or black infiniti.
12. always in your closet? skinny jeans and ballet flats.
13. hobbies? buying way too many magazines, collecting beautiful letterpress cards, stationery design, getting miley all wound up, and spending hours on end at chapters with starbucks in hand.

14. hero? i don't really have a hero per se, but i do find inspiration in writers, artists and other individuals that i really admire.
15. what piece of art would you most like to own? i just can't commit to choosing one piece of art! i'd rather own first editions of some of my favorite books. i love the simplistic covers & binding.
16. favorite vacation spot? scotland to see my family, paris for it's beauty and magic.
17. favorite musicians? music is pretty random for me. i like carrie underwood, paramore, britney, coldplay, sarah bareilles, modest mouse...but i mostly listen to a whole lot of singles from all different kinds of genres on my itunes.
