the end of an nightmare, the beginning of a dream

no one could have said it better than the man himself: "what the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them - that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply." i am welcoming with open arms this brilliant and inspiring man as the new president of the united states. this is the first time in eight years that my view towards politics has shifted, as he has brought a level of hope and optimism unlike any i've seen from the corrupt politics i'm accustomed to. he singuarly stands for exactly what this country needs: change. i can not wait to see what he does in the years to come. this just may be the most exciting day in history.
