california road trip

so reading about a friends recent 3-day jaunt up the coast, i am incredibly inspired to do a california road trip. the redwoods, yosemite, ojai, carmel, napa, davis, santa cruz, the whole enchilada. i think it'd be so much fun to just hit the road for five days or so and explore the hidden enchanted beauties of this state. ah, it'll go on the 'i wish' list & i know one day i'll make it happen. until then, i'm heading up to the lovely santa barbara today to enjoy the last of this long, amazingly relaxing weekend.
