after a gastronomic adventure to surfas on sunday, i've come to realize the power of cheese. i'm not talkin' about a slice of tillamook on your burger or some shredded parmesan on your spaghetti; i'm talkin' gourmet artisan shop cheese. i was lucky enough to brunch on a combination of pecorino pepato, midnight moon, and petit basque atop fresh baked french bread, with a side of apple slices and dark chocolate covered almonds. my idea of a perfect sunday. i leave you with some gourmet cheese platters to salivate over.
