julie & julia

yesterday i went to see julie & julia with my mom (definitely a mother-daughter movie). it was inspiring in so many ways, it's hard to explain. the movie was fantastic, and i'd gladly see it again. not only am i incredibly inspired to tie on my apron and pick up a copy of mastering the art of french cooking (or any cookbook for that matter), but also on a blogging level. it made me realize how much i love sharing with everyone things that i find inspiring, and interacting with people that get the same joy out of it that i do. it really is a wonderful community of creative people, and as i told a co-worker earlier this week, "if i could blog for a living, i'd be all over it."
