one-letter hot spots

has anyone elsed noticed that all of the trendiest spots popping up in l.a. lately are all one-letter names? i guess barry sternlicht was really on to something when he started the w hotels. now there's the o bar, s bar, j lounge, m cafe, the o hotel opening downtown, and i'm sure there's more coming.
